This year, Santa was going to visit Lukas' preschool. The parents & siblings were invited to listen to their kids sing a few songs & then watch Santa pass out a small gift to each kid. Lukas was excited & said to Marieke: "Are you excited to see Santa? Just keep your eyes OPEN & your mouth CLOSED. I don't want Santa to see my sister crying."
I'm not sure if he was afraid that then Marieke wouldn't get any presents or more importantly, if it would reflect badly on him......
